Gael Poinsot runs a family Champagne vineyard of 9 hectares in the south of the Champagne region. One third of his grapes harvest is sold to the LVMH Group to be used in the production of world famous brands of Champagne such as Don Perignon, Veuve Clicquot etc.
All the bottles that Gael produces follow a very strict traditional 'millesime' vinification process. The Cuvee is allowed to age in the cellars for 36 months which make for superior quality Champagne; most Champagnes are kept in the caves for approximately 18 months.
The specification of the GD Champagne is 100% Pinot Noir which brings you the roundness and the fruitiness of this excellent variety of grape. This unique wine will offer you the freshness and the vivacity of great Champagne.
Gael is a keen Game shot as well as Clay shooter and met George during a World Cup event. From that day, George and Gael have worked together to design a very high standard Champagne taking into consideration all the above factors, and Gael has selected the best grapes from his vineyard for this purpose.
Gael and George have produced two types of GD Champagne, a White and a Rosé in the standard size bottle or magnum bottles.
The retail price for a bottle is £25 for White or Rosé Champagne, for the magnum bottle, it's £65 for White or Rosé.
