GEORGE DRIVES AWAY WITH THE PRIZE

The 27th Midland Game Fair took place in Weston Park, Staffordshire last weekend, with over 100,000 visitors attending the event over the two days.

George was competing in the Professional Class of the Mitsubishi Motors World Series Clay Shooting Championship, after qualifying from a series of three events over the summer.

Over the past five years the Mitsubishi Motors World Series Clay Shooting Championship has become one of the World's leading Clay Shooting competitions.

Finalists were shooting against each other in a 'head to head' format to determine the champion. After three tough rounds George emerged as the victor, earning himself the grand prize of a Mitsubishi L200 Trojan Double Cab.

A jubilant George said, "I've taken part in the competition since its inauguration five years ago, and I've come close before but never won, so it's was nice to finish the job off for once."

Mitsubishi's General Manager Marketing Haydn Davies said, "I just wanted to add my congratulations on your win at the Midland. Its been a long time coming but for some reason I had a sneaking feeling that this was going to be your year. You've been a great ambassador for the sport, this is a very deserved win. Once again congratulations and good luck next year!"

George would like to thank Perazzi, Hi def Spex, Gamebore, Ray Ward Gunsmiths and Ambassador Services for their continued support.
