4th August 2011George teams up with Kent county cricket captain Rob Key for a spot of pigeon shooting in the latest episode of Fieldsports Britain.
George and Rob have known each other for around six years and frequently meet up for shooting practice, and the Fieldsports cameras were on hand to catch the latest session between the two.
Of Rob's budding talent, George jokingly told the show: "He thinks he's better than he actually is. But he's getting better. Then again, I suppose really and truly he couldn't be a lot worse.
"He turned up on one of the pheasant days we ran and I had to spend most of the day telling him what was right and wrong. And having watched him over the last few years, it was a complete waste of my breath!
"But he enjoys it, and when people are enthusiastic and enjoy it, it's nice to help them."
Speaking about the difference between cricket and shooting, Key added: "I'm very lucky because George has taken me out ever since I got a gun. It's a bit like going out with Tendulka and having him teach you how to bat.
"There's quite a similar thought process to batting. Batting's all about having a good enough technique that you can just trust in your hand-eye. Batting's the same.
"The odd ocassion that I've shot well, I haven't thought about it; I just shoot it. You miss a few obviously, but you're in a zone.
"When you shoot badly, as when you're not batting very well, you thinking about it, and mentally it's exactly the same almost. That's why I could realate to it."
